Spring break at Augustana College in the Queen City, it didn't stop the Rock Garden Tour crew from breaking into the student union to do the show anyway. Last night we talked about worm composting in South Dakota. A decent show considering it was Oil Can's first show back since being suspended for disrespecting the script. An awesome show considering we jammed some most righteous free range rock and roll from Neutral Milk Hotel to The Fireman. Here's the playlist:
The Pine Valley Cosmonauts - Little Red Barn
Neutral Milk Hotel - King Of Carrot Flowers Part I
Staff Benda Bilili - Poliomyelite
Okkervil River - Our Life Is Night A Movie
We All Have Hooks For Hands - Oh I'd Expect
Rock Garden Tour Family Band - Information County Highway
The Rural Alberta Advantage - Edmonton
Wolf Parade - Grounds For Divorce
Bishop Allen - Rain
Pavement - Cut Your Hair
The Fireman - Light From Your Lighthouse
The Magnetic Fields - You And Me And The Moon
Loudon Wainright III - The Swimming Song
Beirut - My Wife, Lost In The Wild
Los Fabulosos Cadillacs - Flores
Right Away Great Captain - Oh No, I Tried
Blitzen Trapper - Country Caravan
The Kinks - Big Sky
Frightened Rabbit - Old Old Fashioned
Todd Snider - Thin Wild Mercury
The Mountain Goats - Against Agamemnon
Tonic - Flowerman
Honorable mention on this week's playlist goes to the Supreme Genius of King Kahn and the Shrines - we jammed a few tracks by this wonderful act a few weeks ago - we meant to blast a track by them in this episode but we ran out of time.
If you have a band and you'd like the Rock Garden Tour to jam your music (if we love it) on the live show or on the podcast - send promotional materials to: Attention Flowerman - Fresh Produce Inc. - 400 N Main Suite 100 - Sioux Falls SD 57104
